Guide to apply to the
Divershefy Distinguished Director program

1. Qualification check

You fulfill one or more of the following criteria:
- Board Certification and 15+ years of professional experience
- Have been on a Board for several years
- Have 15+ years of professional experience and training in
  corporate governance or CA/CPA/CS or law degree
- Have several years of experience in C-level position of a listed company
 
Divershefy offers Masterclasses relevant for Board governance
for free on the platform. Please check the Library under Board Series.
 
We also offer Board Topic Certifications which will increase your
Board profile and likelihood to get selected for a Board.

2. Have your Board resume and Board Value proposition ready

If it is the first time you are creating a Board resume and Board value proposition, we recommend you take advantage of the Coaching session with Anand Garg. Members of  Divershefy can set up such sessions and leverage his experience.
 

3. Prepare for the vetting process by the Global D3 Committee

- Review the Committee Members profiles on our about us page.
 
- Prepare a 10 min introduction about yourself, focused on the value you bring to a Board (not your past experience). The Committee will read your Board resume before the session, so you don't need to repeat what is written in there. Use the 30 min you will have with the Committee members to get input from them more than talk about yourself.
 
 - Think about which Industry, geography and size of company you want to be on the Board of. Have a few example companies you would like to be on the Board of ready to share with the Committee.
Once you are ready you can APPLY to the D3 program by sending your Board resume and Board Value proposition to [email protected] with the request for joining the D3 program.
 
After we receive this request we will review the shared material and if the qualification criteria are met we will set up a call with the Global D3 Committee.  After the vetting call the Committee will determine if the candidate is accepted into the Divershefy Distinguished Director program.
